Bomb Threats Called Into Courthouses Across Oregon

About 2:30 this afternoon people started pouring out of the County Justice Building and the Old Jackson County Courthouse.

They were outside for a short time, before police gave the all clear.

Medford Police Officials said “We received a bomb threat that came into the County Elections Office that mentioned the County Courthouse having a bomb in it. As a precautionary measure the county courthouse was emptied out. More information has come in now, apparently multiple counties throughout the state have received the same threat. This time it looks like everything is good to go and people are going back into the courthouse.”

Medford Police say the evacuation went smoothly and it was back to business inside the courthouse quickly.
