ASHLAND, ORE. –A medical marijuana facility in Gold Hill has opened up a second shop, this time in Ashland.
Breeze Botanicals was given a provisional license last week and began operating at 9am Monday, on Siskiyou Boulevard.
The shop has a small boutique in front with local products open to everyone, while the backis reserved for medical marijuana cardholders.
The owner of Breeze Botanicals says medical marijuana patients told her they wanted access to cannabis in Ashland and patients helped invest money in the location.
“A lot of people said to me you know, the older generation needs a safe boutique, comfortable atmosphere, and so its nice to see people like our concept,” said Brie Malarkey.
While there are no current plans to open any other locations.
Malarkey says she is now in the process of expanding their Sun God’s Medicinal line which has expanded to several dispensaries around the state.
