‘Fast and Loud’ Car Stars

Two classic Corvettes from Klamath Falls could soon be getting some national exposure…

A freelance crew from the Discovery Channel’s ‘Fast and Loud’ reality show was taping in Klamath Falls this morning.

The show features Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman of the ‘Gas Monkey Garage’.

Vic Haudenshild explains…

“They usually come out, and they buy cars, and then they fix them up, and turn around and resell them, and make money – or, lose money sometimes.”

Vic Haudenshild listed his late uncle Roger’s 1958 and 1969 Corvettes on Craigslist…

“And they called me up, and said, ‘Hey, we’re really interested in these cars.”

Those cars are now headed to Dallas, Texas for renovation.

Haudenshild thinks his uncle Roger would be proud to see his cars on TV…

“I think it’s a good way to honor my uncle, who’s owned these cars for 35 years, and not a lot of people knew he had them.”

No date has yet been set for when the Haudenshild episode will air.

Roger Haudenshild died in June of last year. Haudenshild worked for Goodyear Tire in Medford for nearly 30 years, and was a regular at Southern Oregon Speedway.
