Health Exchange Offers Mulit-Lingual Services To The Uninsured

AAservice is coming to the uninsured that will help negotiate the process of getting health coverage.

The Health Insurance exchange, called “Cover Oregon,” will have staff members who can speak Spanish, Russian and Vietnamese.

The website and outreach materials will cover those languages, as well as Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

The service in in effort to reach as many Oregonians as possible…and 14 percent of Oregon’s population speaks a language other than English.

“Cover Oregon”and the Health Exchange is set to be up and running by October.
