Hit And Run Kills Two

Oregon State Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit and run accident that resulted in the deaths of two people.

Authorities say just after midnight, a report came in of two people struck by a car on highway 199, about 2 miles south of Cave Junction.

When first responders arrived on scene, they pronounced both victims deceased. Only their ages are being released at this time; 41 and 21.

The suspect’s car is described as a light colored, 1980’s style single cab Toyota pickup with a canopy and is expected to have damage to the front.

Police say it was last seen driving southbound.
