A Klamath Falls man accused of assaulting his former girlfriend and stabbing her dog is now charged with attempted murder.
Police arrested 30-year old Patrick James Robertson on multiple charges last week.
Robertson is accused of breaking in to his ex-girlfriends’ home, threatening to kill her, and stabbing her dog.
The woman was treated for minor injuries and later released.
Prosecutors say her dog survived the attack, and is recovering from its wounds.
