Salem, Ore.– Secretary of State Kate Brown will be sworn in as Oregon’s new governor on Wednesday.
Albert Manashe, who refers to the Secretary of State by her first name, first hired Brown as a lawyer after graduating from Lewis and Clark College. He states he was always impressed by Brown and her strong political background and that she has maintained a relationship with various people at the lawfirm.
Kate Brownwill be the second woman governor, and the first openly bisexual governor. Manashe says he will still refer to Brown as Kate once she is sworn in as governor, but maybe not in public.
