These girls may have a sweet smile…but don’t trust it…because their kick will most definitely sting. “I like to fight…I like to hurtting people..i like to see them leaving the ring crying.” I would cry if i got caught with a kick from one of these girls…like 15 year old Alexa Lowe who is a black belt in taekwondo, with medals from the junior olympics and lofty goals. ” I want to go to Stanford on a scholarship then compete in the olympics…12 year old Jaycee Lowe, and 13 year old Teighlor Traister are still on the road to a black belt, but that doesn’t mean their goals stop their. “I want to go to Stanford and study to become a surgeon and while competing on the usa taekwondo team” Jaycee Lowe says “I want to win a gold medal at the junior olympics.” What does it take to reach these goals Strength, speed and technique are important but mental strength trumps all. Alexa says “it’s not about knowing you can win, it’s about thinking that you can and that will help you do your best and if you can…you will” The training helps prepare them for this…like the 2 on 1 sparring sessions.

Master Evans wants to make sure that they learn to hold nothing back, he says “that’s what we do..if were going to fight, were not going to intentionally break the rules, but were going to use the rules to hurt our opponents.” When it comes to the outside competition, these fighters stick together.
