New reports reveal big improvements in dental health among Oregon kids.
The report, just released this week, assesses every major dental health category between 2007 and 2012.
Among the results, rates for Oregon kids with cavities is down to 52 percent from 64 percent.
Tooth decay was down by nearly half and rampant tooth decay, described as having seven or more cavities, was down by one-third.
