Central Point, Ore. — Heres a way to help reduce mosquitos, disposing of unused car tires.
The Jackson County Vector Control District is holding a tire disposal event starting today, July 28th, at their office in Central Point.
Standing water is a breeding ground for mosquitos and old tires are a particular problem.
This event will only accept car and truck tires, tractor and oversized tires won’t be accepted and bring sure to bring an ID or utility bill verifying you live in Jackson County.
The event continues tomorrow through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
