Robert Jackson was charged with vehicular homicide in connection to a Nov. 11 accident that killed Lindsay Hill, a mother of two.

Jackson, originally convicted of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, was released from prison in August, but DOC officials say his correct release date should have been Dec. 6.

The Department of Corrections revealed last week an estimated 3,200 offenders were released early from prison since 2002 due to a computer coding glitch. The error was detected in 2012, but still hasn’t been fixed.
