Subaru accidentally ‘stolen’ in Portland

Portland, Ore. — It’s a car theft story you won’t believe. Portland NBC affiliate KGW reports Erin Hatzi’s red Subaru was stolen right next to her driveway in Portland.

The woman who had taken off the in car stopped right outside Hatzi’s home along with a note and some cash inside.

The note explained how the woman had gone to pick up a friend’s red Subaru and ended up taking the wrong car.

Some older model Subaru keys work in different cars. The woman also left her name and number with the apology.
