Drought classification lifted for Klamath County

0624 Upper Klamath LakeKlamath County, Ore. — Good news for Klamath County–for the first time in five years the area is out of a drought.

The National Weather Service said the recent storms have helped push the county out of the drought classification and more rain is projected through the next month.

Now, the county is classified as “abnormally dry”.
