Eugene, Ore. — A Linn County man who posted a threat to law enforcement on social media is headed to prison.
The Register-Guard reports 24-year-old Timothy Fleming pleaded guilty in September to one count of transmitting a threat in interstate commerce. That was after threatening an Albany Police officer on Facebook.
Fleming is sentenced to one and a half years in prison, but will be released earlier because of credit for time already served. In addition, he is prohibited from using the Internet for three years.
