Medford airport adds new flights

Medford, Ore. — The Medford airport continues it’s record breaking streak and airlines are taking notice.

Come summer of 2016 Alaska Airlines will add another flight to Seattle and Delta is adding a flight to Salt Lake City for the second half of December and first week of January.

For the seventh straight month the airport has had more than 60,000 passengers. Airport Director Bern Case said around Thanksgiving the airport broke it’s record for a calendar year. So far this year the airport has seen more than 690,000 passengers up 14% from last year.
