Crews stop fire spread in Powers Ranger District

POWERS RANGER DISTRICT, Ore. – A new fire that started in the powers Ranger District was stopped thanks to firefighter’s quick response.

According to Rogue River Siskiyou National Forest on Tuesday, crews responded to the area near Coal Creek.

The fire was caught at about a quarter acre.

The cause has not been determined.
